Neil first developed an interest for art and design, whilst studying art for GCSE. A keen interest quickly flourished into a fondness, using music, film and his surroundings as his inspiration, he began to indulge himself in all forms of art and design. He started finding influence in the works of other designers like Kenya Hara and Tomato but all the while maintaining a strong sense of his own environment. Neil attended West Herts College to do a BTEC National Diploma in Graphic Design. It was while embarking upon this that his creative vision became clearer. His overall appreciation of the two-year course was recognised and met with a triple-distinction in 2004. In 2005 Neil joined the FDA course in Graphic Design For Communication at London College of Communication University (formally LCP). He remains at University to the present day and when he isn’t studying he enjoys expanding upon his Portfolio using ever-new sources of inspiration. In his time studying art and design, Neil has benefited from working with and learning all forms of design but cites typography amongst his favourites.
